Mr. Ma Restaurant Type of Work Brand Identity / Visual System / Brand Storytelling / Mascot Design Client Mr. Ma Year 2026 Mr. Ma is a grilled fish and BBQ concept built around real fire, bold flavour, and the energy of gathering around the table. CGICA developed a vibrant new brand identity that transforms the traditional grilled fish experience into something younger, more social, and instantly recognizable. At the heart of the system is the Mr. Ma character, a confident, playful host carrying grilled fish and skewers, supported by bold typography, expressive graphics, and a high-impact orange, black, and off-white palette that runs from logo and mascot to packaging, signage, and digital communication. To bring grilled fish and BBQ into a younger, more social dining experience built on real fire. A jianghu-inspired grilled fish brand made for big fish, big feasts, and good times. Real Fire. Real Flavour. Every meal a gathering. The playful Mr. Ma mascot paired with bold typography and a high-impact palette. Fishbelly White, Fire Orange, and Jianghu Black set the brand’s high-contrast colour system. Grilled fish, skewers, flames, and expressive graphics create an energetic visual world that feels young, confident, and instantly recognizable. Whether you’re grabbing a slice at 2 AM or sharing dinner with friends, Aly is always there with a smile. As a living embodiment of the slogan “Everyone has an Aly,” the mascot becomes a visual anchor across packaging, social media, and in-store storytelling. Aly is a cheerful, caring girl with a twinkle in her eyes — always ready to share, support, and smile. Inspired by the founder’s daughter, Aly becomes a symbol of comfort, community, and personal connection. Aly’s 3D version combines soft lines, warm tones, and night-friendly glow details — a visual hug from your neighbourhood pizzeria. Old Xian’s Food – Mascot Design Food & Beverage Craft a culturally rooted mascot that visualizes the bold flavour and personality of Old Xian. Type of Work Mascot Design Client Old Xian Food Year 2024 Website www.oldxiansfood.ca To personify the cultural spirit of Old Xian, we created Noodle Man — a playful, elastic mascot inspired by the iconic Biang Biang noodles of Shaanxi. With a flowing noodle body and a traditional yúdùbái (fish-belly-white) headscarf, Noodle Man fuses the culinary charm of Xi’an with the folk character of northern China. This mascot embodies both tradition and humour, offering a friendly face that enhances Old Xian’s storytelling across physical spaces, menus, social media, and beyond. Noodle Man is a cheerful and elastic food spirit, stretching freely with a noodle-like body — symbolizing the rustic and warm-hearted nature of Xi’an. Inspired by BiangBiang noodles and folk attire, Noodle Man blends culinary heritage with cultural storytelling. With a stretchy noodle body and expressive gestures, Noodle Man’s 3D form adds lively movement to the brand. Rooted in the concept of “Your Daily Delight,” SEVII was crafted to embody the joyful, everyday moments 7 Baker aims to bring to its customers. From nap-time doodles to free snack redemptions, SEVII becomes a visual storyteller for the brand across social media, packaging, and in-store environments. SEVII is cheerful, relatable, and always facing left—capturing the little joys in everyday life. Inspired by the shape of “7” and biblical wholeness, SEVII symbolizes luck, love, and daily delights. SEVII’s 3D model maintains its iconic shape and textures, allowing dynamic use across media and environments.
