To personify the cultural spirit of Old Xian, we created Noodle Man — a playful, elastic mascot inspired by the iconic Biang Biang noodles of Shaanxi. With a flowing noodle body and a traditional yúdùbái (fish-belly-white) headscarf, Noodle Man fuses the culinary charm of Xi’an with the folk character of northern China. This mascot embodies both tradition and humour, offering a friendly face that enhances Old Xian’s storytelling across physical spaces, menus, social media, and beyond.
Noodle Man is a cheerful and elastic food spirit, stretching freely with a noodle-like body — symbolizing the rustic and warm-hearted nature of Xi’an.
